I am the NWATS Hosers, He is El Diablos.
My first reaction was: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Then I thought: My goaltending is stout enough (healthy lead), why not add arguably the best skater in fantasy?
Now I'm thinking that this has potential disaster written all over it, as my potential improvement is not that great. It should improve my +/- but not by a lot in the standings (and I am already pulling 10 and 9 in G and A), while this move could put the other guy over the top on me with lots of room to improve in the goaltending cats.
So, I conclude, "If it ain't broke..."
I've removed my team from my sig. It made me sick to look at it every time.

naw, i wouldnt do that deal... ud be relying on Gerber and Miller down the stretch, you need Hasek manning the pipes
there are a couple good wingers on free agency if you want to take a look (Justin Williams, Ekman, Zherdev)

I would make a counter offer.
Your Gerber and Bertuzzi for his Alfredsson and one of his LWers.
You would definately win the deal and if he is desperate for a goalie he will accept.

I thought about a counter-offer. But after further investigation, I stand to make up probably 2 points in Goals and at least 1 in Assists, as the teams ahead of me in those categories are WELL ahead of the Games Played schedule, whereas I am right on.
This is one of the reasons that El Diablos is probably so willing to trade Jagr in the first place. I could see him dumping a quality winger after the trade deadline to try to make up for his lack of Defensive GP's, too.
