I got lucky and drafted first in a yahoo 9cat H2H. Result looks like this (pretty crazy I think):
PG Ridnour
SG R.Allen [8D]
G QRich
SF Carmelo []
PF Al Jefferson
F KG (!!!!!) []
C Yao
C Z
Ut Camby
Ut S.Swift
Bn B.Wells
Bn Curry
Bn D.Williams (I love him too)

Overall, I am comfortable in FG%, PTS, REB, BLK (obviously),
OK in STL,
need to improve in FT%, AST, 3s,

dont care about TOs.

Who do you think I could get for Camby and Curry, maybe QRich? I think of PG help, possibly dumping 3 pointers. I would also like to do 2for1 as I would have a spot to stream. I am totally new to H2H, so I would appreciate all help you can provide!

Thanx so much! [:p]

Just offered Curry for A.Miller - I know its a bit low, but we have to start somewhere.

On another team I found J.Terry and Prince. Offered Camby and Q for them. This seems fair...

Any thoughts??

Please, please... []

First, your team is just sick. Your depth at center is insane. Well done. I agree you can certainly afford to let Camby go (even with all those blocks).

Also, I agree with your category assessment, though between Allen and Q you have a great base for 3s. Hold onto Q for now, you shouldn't have to move him.

You do need to deepen yourself at the point. In Yahoo H2H there are no games played limits, so you want to have as many quality players to rotate in every day as possible.

Ridnour is good. he will improve on last year for sure. Expect a spike in assists and 3s from him this year. He doesn't have to share time with Antonio Daniels this year and that, plus his experince (started all 82 games last season) helps his value a ton. Deron Williams is a good bet for solid assists as well. He'll hit some three but his FG and FT % may not be what you want from a PG.

I would consider moving Camby for Andre Miller straight up. See what happens if/when Curry for Miller is rejected. Miler won't help in 3s but his FG and FT %s are excellent. And he gets you good assists and steals. Be aware that he may lose a little playing time with both Earl Watson Boykins on board in Denver.

You might want to try a strategy our very own Pete Becker recommends. You have to be the deepest team at center. You have 2 top 5 Cs in Z and Yao. Camby is very close. Swift qualifies at C and thereis a lot of bizz about him right now. For many teams he is a quality #2 center with #1 center upside. And Curry is a good #2 on most teams and a #1 on some. His upside is even highter than Swift's. This means there have to be several teams who are very shallow at center. Email all of them together--let them know you are emailing all of them--and tell them you are making Camby (or Swift) available and that you are looking for a comparably valued PG. Explain that the highest bidder gets Camby. You are being transparent, fair, and the compettyion should drive up bids for your player.

If someone offers you a truly stud PG for say Yao or Z, you'll have to consider it, given that you have the depth to handle the loss of either.

Wow guylake, thanks for the response!

First of all, I agree with everything you wrote with the small addition that Ridnour will have competition in the form of Flip Murray (who originally is a PG). Not to say that Flip will play 20-25 ppg, but he wont start this year like the last one (on IL).

The strategy might work, but it is still a bit early to say if there are more managers in my league interested in trading. No response from Miller's owner yet... []

Still, thanks for the advice once more, I'll keep you updated. []

On another note: I have the same 'problem' in another league with B.Miller, Z, Okafor, Swift and Curry at C and Parker, Telfair and D.Williams at PG) ... [] ... and they keep asking for Williams ... [8D]
