In a 10 team, yahoo default pool, start 2 RB per week.  This is my first football pool, so I don't really know how to value RBs very well.

Scoring:

Passing Yards (25 yards per point)
Passing Touchdowns (4)
Interceptions (-1)
Rushing Yards (10 yards per point)
Rushing Touchdowns (6)
Reception Yards (10 yards per point)
Reception Touchdowns (6)
Return Touchdowns (6)
2-Point Conversions (2)
Fumbles Lost (-2)

Jamal Lewis was just dropped onto the waiver wire.  Is he worth a pickup as a reserve RB?  What about Derrick Ward?

My starting RB are: Steven Jackson and Frank Gore

My current reserve RB are: Brandon Jacobs, Ladell Betts, and Jerious Norwood.

Is Lewis or Ward a better option than one of my reserves?

edit:  I just noticed that Brandon Jacobs has a sprained MCL and looks to be out for a few weeks.  Should I drop him outright for a waiver claim on Lewis or Ward - or should I keep him on the bench and run with Jackson/Gore/Betts/Norwood as RB's?

You have great starting RBs - despite their lackluster production in week #1. Hold onto Jacobs - he will hopefully be fine. Betts is also a good RB to have. I'm not so high on Norwood, but he's far from drop material.
As far as Lewis and Ward are concerned, I'd rather have Ward. Lewis has a permanent starting job, but I don't think he's very good, and he's playing behind a poor offensive line. Ward, though, would be helpful for you considering your situation with Jacobs. If you can fit him in w/o dropping any RBs, I'd go ahead and do so. That way, if Jacob's injury is worse than feared, you should still have the NYG's starting RB.

I start 1QB,3WR,2RB,1TE,1K,1DEF:

My entire team is:

QB: M.Bulger, M.Leinart

WR: S.Smith(car), R.Williams, A.Boldin, C.Chambers,K.Curtis

RB: S.Jackson,F.Gore,B.Jacobs,L.Betts,J.Norwood

TE: V. Davis

K:J.Wilkins

DEF: PITT

Should I drop one of the WR's like Chambers/Curtis for Ward?

I would drop Curtis. Heis a good WR, but you have 4 better ones. You can always pick up a WR if needed later in the season.
