| Hey all, 12 team mixed, non-keeper, 5x5, H2H Yahoo league. I'm thinking about picking up Phil Hughes today, but I'm not sure he's a better bet than any of my current crop of pitchers. Here's my roster: C: J.Mauer, 1B: A.Pujols, 2B: B.Phillips, 3B: R.Braun, SS: C.Guillen, OF: E.Byrnes, A.Dunn, C.Hart, UTIL: J.Morneau, BN: T.Glaus And the pitching staff: SP: C.Hamels, E.Bedard, C.Young (DL), J.Maine, T.Gorzelanny, Y.Gallardo, J.Guthrie, RP: K.Gregg, B.Lidge, M.Corpas, M.Capps, H.Okajima I'm leaning toward dropping Gorzy because his ERA's been climbing and he seems to be wearing down. He's had a great year, but I think all the innings are catching up with him. Anyway, I'd appreciate some input, as I've got some decisions to make. One of my guys is going to have to get the boot anyway when Chris Young gets back from the DL, but there's no way Hughes stays on the wire after a quality first start back. Is this a move I should make? Thanks in advance.

Monitor his game. See how well he does and pick him up if he does well. I might drop Gorzy since Hughes guarantees better run support which translates to more wins.
