| My team is struggling in PIM in a league that counts G, A, PPP, PIM, +/-, GWG for F and D. I'm planning to trade one of my Cs for a D-man. My Cs are Forsberg, Crosby, Modano and Gomez. Ideally I would like to trade away Gomez or Modano. What caliber of D-man can I expect to get for these guys? Is Phaneuf too much to ask? How about Chara? Any other trade suggestions?

You wouldn't get full value out of Gomez so I'd shoot to offer Modano. If you're trading Modano away, it'd be best to go for the D-men that give the total package. I don't know if anyone needs anyone like Modano for their team since finding a good C isn't hard to find. Phanuef is most likely too much but that doesn't mean you can't try it out and that's true of the other pricey D-men to consider: Spacek, Blake, Chara and Boucher.
