Cole left morning practice and went striaght to an orthopedist.

He left with his foot in a big black boot - no crutches and was obvious pain.

If I hear anything else I'll post it - the information came from a Hurricanes fan who works in the ortopedist's office and posted it on the Hurricanes official message board.
