Dump Neil, Prospal and Toivonen for Nagy, Demitra and Bryzgalov.

Neil isn't useful with such a shallow roster. Nagy might be getting hot and we don't know if Vanek will keep up the hot pace. Demitra will be better than Murray and Prospal at RW once Gaborik comes back. Pick up Demitra first since there's a bigger need at RW.Tkachuk would be a nice option at LW also if he can't land Nagy.

Toivonen was sent to the AHL so he's not much use and Miller and Lehtonen are solid enough. Pick-up Bryzgalov if he wants a third goaltender, he's numbers are great and in a daily league you can use him only when his slated to start.

Also, Gomez isn't of anyuse to him with Staal on the bench so I'd drop him and pickup a winger or D for the bench.

The Frog is columnist Eric Maltais, he is the 2005-06 TMR experts' hockey league champion.

i agree except i'd try to deal Gomez for a winger rather than turf him to the wire.

See as how BOS is hurting with their goalies, would it be wise to hand onto Toivonen? He should get the call up again unless they trade GMurray for SJ goalie.

If he doesn't get Nagy, LW Holmstrom is a good option since ~30 goals and good +/-.

Long live the Expos...............in my memory.

Toivonen's value is incredibly low right now but if you can get something you like for him then go ahead.  Holmstrom is a good trade target, so is Nagy if healthy but if i traded Gomez/Toivonen for Holmstrom i'd want a significant upgrade at G in the same deal.  i'd much rather have a healthy Gomez (he's DTD right now) than Holmstrom.   i'd trade Gomez straight up for Nagy if you can get him (or throw in Toivonen)

My bro got Demitra off WW for Neil but he didn't snag Nagy or Bryzgalov (maybe he's scared after he let in 2 goals on 3 shots last night).

Maybe it's good that he hangs on Toivonen since he should be back up.

Just to clarify Ian: Nagy, Holmstrom, Bryzgalov are FA now along with others (Svatos, Wolski, Mellanby, Guerin) I expect Doan to be dropped by an owner. I'm thinking he should dump Prospal for Nagy or Holmstrom.

I'm interested to hear why you think Nagy is better than Gomez even though PHX is struggling to score.

**Shouldn't be here but I wanted to mention that he offered GMurray, Gomez, Lehtonen for Kipper, Gaborik.

Long live the Expos...............in my memory.

Nagy doesnt belong on a wire, go get him.  i'm ok with Bryz on the wire since Giggy is the man out there right now.  i agree on the Prospal drop for Nagy or Holmstrom in that order.

i don't think i said that Nagy is better than Gomez.  i think they're quite similar but Gomez is a bit dinged up right now and Nagy qualifies on a wing if that makes any difference.

the trade offer looks interesting, i hope it goes thru for him.
