I've had two emails sent back to me in the past few weeks, saying they were rejected as SPAM.

One was to kenw that I attempted to send today from my hotmail account.  Another was to whomever wrote the column a month or two ago that included a piece about the crooked caps / mugshots of players in Yahoo! sports.  I attempted again today to kenw with my gmail account and so far it seems to have gone through.

Is this a problem on my end, or are the filters of the columnists / staff set too high?

I have no such filters on mine -- Hotmail by default sends some ish to Junk Mail, but I look there anyway. I can't speak for anyone else, though.

Should've never made a bet with a random.

Alex Gordon (I) v. Top Ten 3B (Dave Hunter), $100
Rocco Baldelli (I) v. Delmon Young (bstone), $50
Bill Hall (I) v. Alex Rios (lloydy, bstone, Random33), $20 a piece
45 home runs (I) v. Aramis Ramirez (bstone), 3:1 odds, $50
< 30 home runs (I) v. Josh Hamilton (bstone), 2:1 odds, $50

ive found almost all of the emails sent to me from this site in my bulk mail section of my acct.  i don't know if everyone has the bulk filter on their acct but i do.  these emails are from people i don't know so the thing that saved them was the fact that they put something about fantasy baseball, hockey, or "look at my team" in their subject line.  i suggest you do the same.

It is probably becasue of a Spam filter on the e-mail of the person you are e-mailing.  Most of the e-mails I get end up in my Yahoo bulk folder.  I would imagine some programs would reject those as Spam.
