He's obviously dominating SV%, GAA, SO(damn SO!) ; 9 pts in Win (13 behind leader). 1 pt in AST and 2 pts in PPP & SOG. He's -14 in goalie games.

RW is pretty deep (still have Selanne) so could trade Jagr but maybe trade RMiller and someone else. Is a LW/RW Naslund, Erat worth getting bc of roster flexibility and shallow LW depth. Could buy low on Zubov in case Boyle doesn't pan out.

Some quick ideas
-RMiller and Jagr for Loungo or Lundqvist

-RMiller, Budaj, (Straka or Tanguay), Timonen for Lundqvist, (Erat or Naslund) and Zubov (buy low) ?
-RMiller, Budaj, Jagr, Timonen for Luongo, winger and Zubov ?

Or try for Turco (nice buy low, DAL is a good team so likely more SO than BUF, West tougher than East though) who won't cost as much as Lundqvist or Loungo).

Mendo Purps only has Turco and Kolzig so he's doing bad in goalie stats as well. RMiller for Turco?

4th place owner (Mendo Purps) only has Turco and Kolzig and needs G scoring and SOG so he accepted our offer of Auld and Sykora for Jagr. He's probably tired of Jagr so perfect buy low. It got vetoed bc as someone else claims "Sykora is a FA nothing and TThomas is back and Jagr is a 1st round pick!!".

Would Budaj for Jagr work?

Picked up extra goalies in case we trade RMiller.
Would RMiller, Recchi for Jagr and TKaberle work? Could throw in Timonen or Auld.

We can't trade Vanek bc we need to keep a goal scorer. Trade Tanguay (hot, high value) or Straka (keep him bc C/LW and should do well with Jagr). Maybe Osgood since Vokoun is full time goalie. Could grab a hot Dman who'll help in +/-, AST later on. DMurray, Niskanen, Schubert, Meszaros, Edler, MGreen, BStuart etc.

In a 16 team H2H league, who would you rather have over the next 2 yrs (ie. 2007/08 and 2008/09).

C - Malkin at $20 in yr 1 and $24 in yr 2

RW - Radulov $8 in yr 1 and $10 in yr 2

Categories are: G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SOG. Team budgets are fixed at $200. Team roster is 4C,4RW,4LW,6D,2G +6 bench

I'm thinking Malkin, but $12 could go a long way in getting other talent during the auction.

I'd be giving up Radulov and Jovanovski + a 1st rnd pick (first 16 players are auctioned then last 10 are straight drafted) to receive Malkin and Kubina + 6th rnd pick.

I'm leaning towards acquiring Malkin, but dropping 5 rounds in the draft seems a little painful. Even though most of our roster is auctioned, we still have to play our first 4 picks in the draft portion (we auction 16, but play 20 positions every week).

Looking at my roster, I'm thinking of dropping Skoula for Bieksa right now...my RW is weak, but not much on the wire is a substantial upgrade. Wondering if I should wait until I need to add someone due to injury or use my pick on Bieksa. Also was considering not using the FA pick until the end of the season (since pickings are a little slim) and picking someone up as a keeper, ie. Toews, Johnson if they sign after their college seasons end.

UPDATE: Clowe and Malone were taken as I wrote the post. It's a keeper league, so I was thinking of retaining Radulov.

Swapping goalies

Here's the deal:
My: Chris Mason and Ed Jovanoski
for His: Cristobal Huet and Tom Preissing

To me this is a no brainer as Vokoun is back and will end up playing the majority of the games. He's got GREAT numbers, and was so great while vokoun (my G1) was down.
My goalies are Vokoun, Mason, and Toskala. I'm currently 1st in wins and 2nd in Saves, but lacking badly in GAA and Save%. If you want to know how that makes sense I used to have Marc Fleury.
Preissing's numbers should go up, and his +/- is fantastic, Jovos will go down once the exJets starting playing down to their potential.
That's my opinion, what do you all think?

My Crosby for his Nylander and Guerin

I'm in an 18 team roto league, and I'm pretty short on goals right now. I've been offered Nylander and Guerin for Crosby.

I'm not to fond of the idea of giving up Crosby, but Nylander and Guerin represent more goals than Crosby does. I would be dropping Ryan Malone to accept the trade.

What do you think? Is it enough for Crosby?

I'm in a keeper league with a two year restriction (ie. can only keep players for year drafted plus 2 years maximum), salary cap and positional requirements in play(4C,4LW,4RW,6D,2G per week).

Was offered:
G - Bryzgalov, RW - Radulov, C - Stoll (can't keep), D - Rafalski (can't keep)

for:

G - Toskala, C - Horcoff, RW - Dvorak, D - Zidlicky (all retainable)

Toskala is an insurance policy on my team (behind Kipper and Fernandez) and I'm banking on Radulov having an impact in the next 2 years. I see the trade as being fair value for both sides, but just wanted a second opinion.

Hi buddies,

I am part of a keepers H2H Yahoo league (4 protected players over 12 players each year). We are 10 teams overall, but might increase to 12 next year. We are allowed 6 moves per year and I already used 3.

I have an empty spot because of Ryan Smith's injury. I was thinking about adding either Kunitz or Getzlaf. However, I already own Selanne and Pronger. Would it be worth spending one of my moves on Kunitz or Getzlaf or just wait until Smith comes back?

Our scoring categories are G, A and PPP for forwards.

I was OFFERED this trade, Ovechkin for my Holmqvist. That's every fantasy GM's dream. I picked up Holmqvist off waivers 2 weeks ago. I just hope it does not get vetoed. In my 20 team roto league G, A, PIM, PPP, GWG, +/-, W, S%, GAA, SO are counted. Here is my team assuming the trade goes through...

I am hurting in the +/- and PIM department, and Lydman and Tallinder are available on the waiver wire. Neither is a goon, but they should have great +/- stats.

Also, those two get a lot of shorthanded time, and I have NO shorthanded points this year.

Who would you drop? I am thinking Pitkanen because he has been an anchor to my +/-. Leopold should be a quality D-man once he starts playing.

Categories are F-goals, F-assists, F-plus/minus, F-PIMs, D-goals, D-assists, D-PIMs (note no D-plus/minus), GAA, and G-"points" (3xW + 2xSO).

Normally I'd want to keep Carle until he's pried from my cold, dead fingers, but with only Brodeur and Toivonen as goalies (max 4 per team, 2 active), I feel a need for a Nabokov (especially if he ends up as a G1 someplace).

I'm leading my league in D-assists, but I'm weak in D-PIMs and average in the goalie categories (thanks to Toivonen).

Should I dump Federov and hope?

My other centers are good enough I think. (Modano, Demitra, Getzlaf, McDonald).

Ian: I'm trying to work with what you have given me but these guys are tough. Souray was a no-go from the start. He's gonna cost me if I want him. Ray Whitney/Ehrhoff for Pitkanen/Morrow had some legs but Nak ended up trying to pry both Boucher and Ehrhoff out of me...a bit too much, I believe.

Since that didn't happen, I didn't chase Semin but I have caught wind that he will be "expensive". Tkachuk, Parise and Sullivan are not available at this time for what I am willing to part with. Doesn't help that they are scoring.

I started talks with Flaming to trade Sundin to him (he is a Leaf fan and had Sundin the last 2 yrs) and Kaberle ignites that day! Naslund, Kaberle, Shanny in my sights.

I dropped Yandle for Lombardi and, today, dropped Vlasic for Rucchin (may be for only 1 wk-4 games). Mike York is on the wire and NYI PP is flying. Bryan Allen is on waivers and I am #3...he may get there. Vrbata and Lehtinen aren't attracting much attention. Vrbata is shooting and getting lots of reg/PP time. McCarthy may only be unbenched until Havelid gets back from his ill mother. Rucchin/York was a toss-up. Not sure who to dump for Allen. Holding Radulov (?) for now, Hamhuis is worth waiting on, I think. Maybe McCarthy for Allen?

I'll keep on trying. Thanks for your advise.

Answers: I'm not a roadie (but I respect them much). For NHL gigs, I wear a suit. Very respectful and thankful. Casino: black uniform. When I was an audio technician(11+ yrs ago): med. length hair and lots of black Ts.

I am in a 12 team head to head league. The scoring catagories for forwards and defencemen are G (3-F, 5-D), A (2-F, 3-D), PPG (1), SHG (2), PIM (.25), +/_ (1).

I have been offered Malkin for Naslund and in a seperate deal I have been offered Iginla for Ryan Whitney.

My current team is: Forwards (Crosby, Heatley, O. Jokinen, J. Williams (Car), Naslund, Zherdev, Zubrus, Whitney (Car)

Defence (Blake, Whitney (Pit), Carle, Ohlund, Poti)
