| Free insider for TMR premium members will still happen....once the sale of the site is completed. We're hoping for things to wrap up soon.

| not being rude - but that has been the reply since march. and for those of us with no interest really in other fantasy sports bar baseball, it is kind of, very, very drawn out and may well be a so what if it comes in september. we all appreciate your efforts but i and many others could have canceled, as Pete always says we can, and used the money to be an espn insider. I have waited and waited as buying Insider know would be silly if we all suddenly get access from TMR and i would rather be counted as a TMR member giving TMR & Pete props but........... loyalty and a sense of community makes me stay but as someone who understood why TMR first went as a pay site, i don't think many would have stayed back then, if they knew how little extra, bar great message boards, they would get. CDub is great and a genius with some of his answers but in his heart of hearts he knows the content is not a patch of last year and is always up after ESPN. But back in the early days TMR & Pete were always sending out updates, offering immediate customer satisfaction, special deals etc I know from those actions, and the price freeze to reward loyalty that TMR & Pete cannot be happy that they have some unsatisfied customers. But we need a bit more than some of the designated posters trying to make us feel guilty saying TMR works hard etc, we are still cracking on etc. I find that a little hard to take and though it is probably frustration on their part, it does not help. Can someone not just say - espn insider by X or your money back. Or, TMR will close on xx and be fully absorbed into ESPN. sorry to go on, but i yearn for the old days when you would get info here that nobody else would have. it was such an edge. here's hoping it all works out. ps. I just had a look at the ESPN message boards - god its like a kindergarden chat room.

First I just want to say that I agree with pretty much everything after the 2nd TMR response here, you guys nailed it.
Second since it looks like we get the TMR's ear here occasionally, I just have a suggestion - you really do need to stop with the "I'll get to it tomorrow - promise" or "Even better one coming soon" bits - when you don't deliver you are really making yourself look bad, on a really big stage, and it's happening way too often. Just throw whatever you can out there whenever and don't reference/promise any upcoming posted material. You're frustrating the loyals and giving ammo to the twits that clog their boards.
Just good luck to everyone here - I hope it works out for you, it's been a hoot.

I just will not comment on any of the site stuff anymore. I do not know what will happen, and do not speak for the site. You have read my thought, and I stand by what I wrote, but that is just my opinion. I still like Barrett better for the rest of the year -- he will hit more HR -- but I am a little worried about Barrett's playing time for sure. Still, I would rather take the risk and get the extra HR.

| Hey gang: I hear and understand and appreciate it all. And my intent is (and always has been) to make everything right with all people. My staff, my readers, my new empyees and new employer. It's a balancing act and one that sometimes I have failed at. The amount of time the finalization of the sale is taking is ridiculous. I recognize that and will rectify. As for jhawk's suggestion, it's well taken. I find that I can't control when stuff gets posted or linked to. I turn it in and sometimes it just sits there, you know, as they deal with a bunch of other stuff on the site... I have made arrangements for this message board to continue to exist after the sale is complete, so that's good news for all, I believe.... Anyways, this is a long way of saying I hear you and agree. And am working on it, although, to jhawk's point, I'm not gonna give a definitive date. TMR

| The fact that TMR has made arrangements for this message board to exist beyond the sale is the BEST news I've heard in ages. AMEN!
